ABOUT THE LIONS

The Lions, led by Coach Ehren Wallhoff, won back-to-back-to-back state championships from 2017-2019. He’s coached more than 30 players who went on to play at Division 1 schools. Last year, the Lions won the Kruel Classic behind the play of all-state players Alex Lloyd (23 ppg) and Jaylen Carey (19 points, 14 rebounds). Lloyd, only a sophomore, is ranked in the top 25 plays in the country and is being recruited by Florida State and Miami, while Carey is being recruited by Southern Miss. and Ohio University. D.J. Wimbley, also a sophomore, averaged 18 points and 7 boards a game last season, while Alex Constanza, a freshman, scored 15 points a game and grabbed 8 rebounds a game last year.
