ABOUT THE BEARS

Coach Zack Moore’s Bears, the defending VHSL Group 2A State Champions, return the VHSCA Group 2A State Player of the Year in Bradley Bunch, a 6-6 senior forward who shot 65 percent from the floor as a junior. Bunch averaged 17 points, eight boards, and three assists a game, giving the Bears plenty of power and leadership. Union will also get plenty of help from forward Noah Jordan, who scored 10 ppg, along with forward Malachi Jenkins, who averaged eight ppg.
