ABOUT THE SHAMROCKS

The Shamrocks and Coach Mike Szabo are no strangers to the Arby’s Classic, winning the 2017 tournament championship at Viking Hall. Szabo, who is in his 22nd season at Trinity, has led the Rocks to the Kentucky state tournament six times, winning it in 2012 and 2019. Cam McClain returns to lead the offense, bringing 17.2 points a game with him, while point guard Andrae Vasser tossed in 13.6 points a game as a sophomore to go along with 4.6 rebounds. The Shamrocks also have Jayden Johnson, one of the top prospects in Kentucky in the Class of 2026, who is also considered one of the top 25 players in the country in his class. Rounding out the Rocks’ starting give is C.J. Walls (11.5 points, 5.2 boards) and David Pfeifer (4.6 points, 4.4 rebounds).
