ABOUT THE VIKINGS

Coach Duane Lewis guided the Vikings to the North Carolina 4A Final Four a year ago. This year’s squad will look to 6-7 junior Isaiah Evans to lead the way. The consensus Top 25 Evans has received a number of offers from Division 1 schools, including Kansas, Florida State, Tennessee, Memphis, Georgetown, LSU, Georgia, and others. Evans averaged 19.5 points, 6 rebounds, and right at 3 assists a game as a sophomore. He’ll depend on Christian Foy and freshman Ashton Pierce to help generate points as the Vikings go after a state title.
