ABOUT THE SPARTANS

Coach Ricky Norris led the Spartans to the 2019 Tennessee State Championship and has accumulated 535 wins entering this season. Last year, his team advanced to the Tennessee Division 2A Elite 8. The Spartans have tons of athletic talent on this year’s club, led by All-Stater and Samford commit Lukas Walls, who scored 16 points a game and hauled in seven rebounds every outing. Shavar Youngand Markeis Barrett are both being heavily recruited for their football prowess, with Tennessee interested in both. Ole Miss and Kentucky are looking at Young, while Vanderbilt is recruiting Barrett.
