ABOUT THE CAVALIERS

The Cavaliers, led by 2020 USA Today South Carolina Coach of the Year Thomas Ryan, were 5A South Carolina State runners-up last season after winning four straight state titles from 2017 through 2020. They are led by big man Noah Clowney, a 6-10 Senior Forward, who has signed with the University of Alabama. Named to the pre-season South Carolina Elite team this season, Clowney averaged 10 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks a game his junior year. Jordan Surratt, at 6-7, scored eight points, seven rebounds, and 3.2 assists a game.
